Maintenance::

Once your site is up and running, you will need to evaluate how often you will require updates to maintain that your site stays productive. A site that is built as an online business card, or a web brochure, will need little or no maintenance.

Sites that are more likely to require daily, weekly or monthly maintenance, are Real Estate sites, Retail sites, and Organizational sites (Churches or Clubs.)

The list goes on of course, but most sites do need some form of maintenance. One of the most often asked questions in the web site world is... " how can I get my site on the big search engines?" In the past it was not very easy, but one benefit was, it was free. Today there are still free placements in search engines, but if you really are serious about being in search results you will need to put a little money into advertising your website on search engines such as www.Google.com ( Google is not a part of NPI Webdesign)

Free is good, but it would take tens of thousands of hits to your site everyday, and longevity to move you up the ladder to the top spots. To avoid waiting and allowing your site to stay hidden among the millions of sites on the internet, you can pay to have your site listed in the sponsored section in most if not all big search engines.

Google.com and Yahoo.com are the two giants with Ask.com close behind. We recommend Google be your first choice due to the enormous following it carries. Currently 90% of all searches are done on Google.com. When the time comes for you to take that step of placing your website on a search engine we will walk you through it at no charge.

Maintaining your website can be simple, or it can become overwhelming. To upload a picture or change a line or paragraph of text is fairly simple. If you have lots of Flash movies, or animation, or java scripts on your site it does get a little tricky, but still doable. We hope you will allow us to service your site(s) to  first ensure we get it on the internet and in front of your customers, and secondly to ensure it stays active and that is produces positive results, and meets your needs.
